Membership
AP CLAY is a community pottery studio designed for hobbyists, learners, and casual makers. To maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all members, we do not allow production pottery within the studio. (See production pottery policy)
All future studio memberships must be approved before completing sign-up. Future members must accept the Studio Membership Agreement plus demonstrate their ability to work independently and safely in a pottery studio. This may include either taking classes or workshops or presentation of a portfolio of a body of work.
Membership Levels
Basic
175.00 PER MONTH
5 Hours of studio access* per week 8am-9pm Tue-Sun, including cleanup.
Designated storage shelf space for clay work. 25 pounds of white 182 stoneware clay at initiation of membership, then additional available for purchase. Use of all studio equipment, underglazes and glazes.
500 cubic inches of firing per month. Extra pieces as per firing fee schedule. Members are responsible for measuring pieces.
$525.00 for each three months
Standard
300.00 PER MONTH
10 Hours of studio access* per week 8am-9pm Tue-Sun, including cleanup.

Premium
350.00 PER MONTH
Unlimited studio access* per week 8am-9pm Tue-Sun, including cleanup.
Semi-private work and storage space for clay work. 50 pounds of white 182 stoneware clay at initiation of membership, then additional available for purchase. Use of all studio equipment, underglazes and glazes.
1000 cubic inches of firing per month. Extra pieces as per firing fee schedule. Members are responsible for measuring pieces.
$1050.00 for each three months.
All Membership Levels – No month to month carryover. Firing fees as posted. Must agree to studio membership agreement.
Limited number of memberships available. Waiting list will be initiated if necessary.
* Access times exclude workshops and special events.
Our membership availability is on a rolling basis, so if we are full at the time we receive your inquiry form, we will add you to our applicant pool. We encourage you to submit your inquiry as we know memberships fluctuate every month.
