She has previously taught at several studios and has joined the AP Clay team to teach and spread her pottery love and knowledge. Over time, her practice evolved toward handbuilding, a shift that opened space for greater exploration, intuition, and quiet reflection. Today, she approaches the forming of clay as a meditative dialogue\u2014each pinch, coil, and surface becoming an invitation to slow down, listen, and connect. As a high school ceramics teacher, Sara shares this reflective, hands-on approach with young artists, encouraging them to slow down, explore, and cultivate their own relationship with clay. Her background consulting for community studios and production spaces has given her a strong command of kilns, glazes, firing schedules, and efficient studio systems, while her professional training in multimedia design enhances her ability to clearly demonstrate techniques and guide students from concept to finished work.
